Most people are good at what they do but to secure a suitable position most often uses an entirely different set of skills. One has to know the issues involved, address these issues in the right way (which may vary from person to person) and to be able to sell oneself without overdoing it. The art of this process is in having the interviewer want to employ you and offer you the job - when you have an offer you can then decide if you want the job or not but without a job offer you don't have the choice.
Our service consists of CV review and advice, CV re-writing, Interview practice and advice using Skype, and general issues associated with securing employment. The successes and testimonials from people we have helped speak for themselves.
The cost is £70 per hour with a minimum 1 hour. You will be notified when the time is due to expire or has expired and you can elect to pay for further time or not. A complete review of a CV may take 2 to 3 hours depending on the extent of the contents.
In one hour the most economical way is if you email us your CV, we review your CV and then arrange to call you on Skype, we provide you with feedback on what to change, you change your CV accordingly and send it back to us, and then we arrange to call you on Skype to go though as much as we can for the rest of the hour. Alternatively we can do as much or as little regarding your CV as you want us to.
Our charging is like this because the amount of work that needs to be done between one person and another can vary considerably.
Payment must be made in advance for the time and can be made in the interim (we are currently de-developing our website) by going to www.edgeimpact.co.uk/pay or by going to www.paypal.co.uk and making payment to accounts@edgehosts.co.uk (which is one of our divisions of Edge Impact Consulting Ltd which handles online payments from clients).
Please email us at support@edgeimpact.co.uk after payment has been made, attach your CV and if you have a Skype name then please also provide it, so that we can attend to you without delay.
